Conference Registration

There are two ways to register for the MCRSA annual conference. The following download is a PDF document to register for the 43rd Annual MCRSA Conference.

You may also register and pay the conference fees electronically using the MIG, Inc. (IMPLAN) secure online ordering system. Click the link to Order Online and the Training to register for the conference.

Registrants are responsible for their own accommodations and any meals not included as a conference function.


MCRSA Combined Registration/Membership

As is the policy of all the regional science associations in North America, all participants in the MCRSA Annual Conference are expected to be MCRSA members. For your convenience, membership is included with the conference registration fee. There is a purchase option for those to previously paid membership dues. Membership dues are waived for students paying the student registration fee and invited participants in the M. Jarvin Emerson Student Paper Competition.

There is no MCRSA membership requirement for IMPLAN conference participants, and registration is priced separately.


Non-conference Hotel Surcharge

Attendees who do not register for an overnight stay at the conference venue (Hilton Airport/MoA) or who book outside of the MCRSA/IMPLAN room block will incur an additional surcharge of $150. This charge will help defray costs in the event that we do not meet the conference venue’s room-night quota. This surcharge does not apply to students or to attendees with a local business address, i.e. the Twin Cities area.


Paper Acceptance Withdrawal for Non-registration

Anyone who has had a paper accepted but who fails to register and pay the conference registration fee by May 6, 2012 will have their paper removed from the conference program and their presentation time slot eliminated.

$1,000.00   Pre-Conference Workshop - IMPLAN V3 Training – Special reduced rate for MCRSA/IMPLAN Conference attendees
$1,375.00   Pre-Conference Workshop - IMPLAN V3 Training – Regular rate for non-conference attendees
